Pauline Bartel will present the program "Scarlett's Rules: Business Lessons from Scarlett O'Hara" at the June 15, 2017 luncheon meeting of Women in Financial Services.

 

In the film Gone With the Wind, Scarlett O'Hara transforms herself from a simpering Southern belle to a successful business woman during turbulent economic times. Discover Scarlett's rules for winning, gain lessons you can apply to your business and create a success action plan by tapping into your innter Scarlett. Pauline Bartel will teach the two-session course "Frankly, My Dear: The REEL Story Behind Gone With the Wind" on Thursdays, October 19 and 26, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Hudson Valley Community College.

Pauline Bartel will teach the one-session course "No Excuses! Writing and Selling Your Book" on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at SUNY Adirondack (Adirondack Community College) on the Queensbury campus

Pauline Bartel will teach the one-session course "Writing and Selling Fiction for Kids" on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Schenectady County Community College in Schenectady, NY. 

 

If you're a budding Beatrix Potter or a struggling Dr. Seuss, discover the secrets of writing and selling books for kids of all ages. Learn how to develop a compelling plot, create characters that come alive on the pag, and write believable dialogue. Then discover how to market your stories to publishers.
